Dow Corning to Showcase Low-Platinum Solventless Release Coatings

Dow Corning Corporation will showcase its proven Syl-Off® Advantage Series, an extensive line of low-platinum, solventless release coating products, at Labelexpo Americas 2008, Booth 3511. The Advantage Series provides many choices for customers to meet their needs.

Today more than 80 coaters in 25 countries utilize the Advantage Series, which provides excellent anchorage and outstanding converting properties. Dow Corning’s recent additions to the lineup require even lower platinum levels and offer the ability to use a wider range of substrates.

By reducing vulnerability to swings in platinum prices, the Advantage Series can help significantly lower silicone costs. In addition to the Advantage Series, Dow Corning will display its cost-effective emulsion release coating series. The company will also feature its innovative coating solutions for many different film types and grades, from temperature-sensitive substrates to unprimed polyester.

Labelexpo Americas is the largest event for the label, product decoration, web printing, and converting industries in the Americas. The event will take place September 9-11 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, in Chicago, Ill., USA. For more information, visit www.labelexpo-americas.com.
