Augrid’s Armour Technology Receives Praise at IDGA Conference

AüGRID Corporation is proud to announce today that its scientific team received very high remarks from top industry analysts at the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement’s conference held in Washington, DC last week, July 27 - 28, 2004. The focus of the conference was Lightweight Materials for Defense Engineering, an area where both AüGRID’s technology and approach are years ahead of the competition. As previously announced Byron Ziegler, Director of Research and Development for AüGRID, spoke at the above mentioned conference, to a room filled to capacity with defense industry contractors and high ranking military personnel.

”Our presence at the conference also yielded several private meetings with top defense contractors interested in co-branding and or licensing AüGRID’s light weight armour technology, to be used in body armour, personnel carries and low altitude aircraft which are susceptible to small arm fire. Over the next couple of weeks AüGRID’s top level management will be in contact with these companies in order to determine the possibility of contracts or licensing agreements”, stated MJ Shaheed President and CEO of AüGRID Corporation. “We are pleased to be able to offer practical solutions to our military in this state of global turmoil” added Shaheed.

AüGRID Corporation and its subsidiaries, Alysium Corporation and Optipure, LLC, are technology based organizations, specializing in the manufacturing, distribution and development of electronic and display devices, thermocouples, silicon carbide tools and nanoparticles technology.
