New Packaging Solution for Luxury Cosmetics

The latest standard launch from RPC Bramlage - the Empress thick-walled cream jar - combines eye-catching technical effects with a distinctive shape to convey a new ideal in luxury cosmetics packaging.

The Empress jar features an innovative dual-layer construction, with a coloured inner jar visible inside the clear outer container. While the overall pack achieves a luxurious thick-walled 'glass effect,' the use of plastics offers significant lightweight and shatterproof advantages that make it safe and practical both for the end user and the supply chain.

Originally developed for the NIVEA VISAGE Expert Lift range, RPC Bramlage is now able to offer the Empress jar as standard with a wide range of decorative techniques to tailor the basic design to brands' specific requirements. Options include screen printing, hot stamping, vacuum metalising, spray lacquering and electroplating.

The pack's distinctive look can be further enhanced by utilising unusual materials in its construction. The outer container is injection moulded in a type of polystyrene to achieve a luxurious thick-walled effect. The inner jar is then manufactured in PP, available in a range of shades to suit the product.
