The merger proposal between Russian companies AVISMA Titanium-Magnesium Combine and the OAO Verkhnyaya Salda Steel-Making Industrial Association /VSMPO has just been approved by their respective shareholders. This paves the way for the largest titanium and magnesium company in the world to be created.
