The Carbon Company – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of carbon-based products, signed a supply contract with Zhejiang Shangyu Jingsheng M&E Engineering Co., Ltd for delivery of SIGRATHERM® MFA rigid felts.
With an order volume of approximately €5 million (RMB 45 million), this is the biggest contract of its kind since SGL Group developed this new SIGRATHERM® MFA rigid graphite felts, a highly efficient, energy-saving material for thermal insulation.

SIGRATHERM® MFA, produced by SGL Group in Germany, is a shape-retentive, highpurity insulating material made of graphite fibers and a carbon binder. Thanks to its excellent thermal properties (suitable for temperatures up to 2,200 °C), and its high mechanical strength, it will be used as an insulation material for the hot zones of crystal growth surfaces in the production of silicone.
