Porvair Sciences Introduces MiniVap Blowdown Evaporator

Producer of microplate products, Porvair Sciences has launched a new product called the MiniVap Blowdown Evaporator.

The device can easily and quickly remove volatile organic solvents from HPLC fractions gathered in 96- or 24-well microplates.

The MiniVap Blowdown Evaporator has a compact design and is easy to deploy, use and manage. The device can be deployed by connecting to a regular mains socket and gas supply. The compact design of the CE marked evaporator allows it to be fitted in all types of fume cupboards. The product also assures operational safety.

The MiniVap eliminates the conventional lab 'bottleneck' evaporation of solvents from HPLC fractions, as it is integrated with sophisticated evaporator head technology that introduces hot nitrogen into every well of a microplate concurrently.
