Developer of pressure-sensitive adhesives and films, FLEXcon has bought Arlon SignTech and Arlon Engineered Coated Product and established a new company called FLEXcon Industrial. The new company has retained all the executives and workers of the old companies.
With this strategic acquisition, FLEXcon will expand its production capacity of engineered products. Arlon Engineered Coated Products laminates and coats numerous foils, synthetic materials, foams and films and has been producing industrial products for more than five decades. Arlon SignTech manufactures flexible PVC substrates that are utilized in outdoor signage. It supplies its products to Arlon Graphics. FLEXcon Industrial will continue to produce and market its extensive portfolio of laminates and adhesive tapes.
FLEXcon is involved in finishing, laminating and coating of broad-web roll-to-roll polymeric products. The company has vast experience in electronics, optical, barrier, bonding, label and graphics applications. It offers a wide range of standard, readymade products as well as customized adhesive and film products to customers.
The President and Chief Executive Officer of FLEXcon, Neil McDonough, stated that the company is happy to establish FLEXcon Industrial. The expertise of the workers and unique equipment expands FLEXcon’s potential to manufacture laminates and adhesive tapes and strengthens its footprint in the industrial segment.
