EcoBlu Products declared that it has confirmed a non binding memorandum of understanding deal with Interstate + Lakeland Lumber, a renowned lumber company based in the tri state New York metropolitan area.
As per the conditions of the deal, Interstate + Lakeland Lumber will manufacture EcoBlu’s ECOB Red Shield Protected Lumber products in its facility in Bethal, Connecticut and will distribute them to the entire tri state market.
ECOB products offer protection against termite, wood rot, mold and fire and will benefit both homeowners and builders in Fairfield, Connecticut, Westchester and New York counties.
EcoBlu’s WoodSurfaceFilm treatment, a patent pending product, needs to be available in strategic regions throughout the US. The Bethel facility is strategically situated to deliver ECOB products to the tri state region.
Interstate + Lakeland Lumber’s Chief Executive Officer, Sheldon Kahan commented that he has evaluated ECOB's Red Shield coatings personally and believes that they are perfect for his customers to differentiate their projects. Products such as Red Shield coatings are the future of the lumber market, he added.
The President and Chief Executive Officer at EcoBlu Products, Steve Conboy stated that Interstate + Lakeland Lumber is the right company to market ECOB Red Shield Lumber products in the North East region.
