It is an auto-catalytic chemical method employed for deposition of a layer of nickel alloy over a solid work material like plastic and metal. The new nickel-plating technique depends on a reducing agent, which reacts with metal ions for depositing the metal.
The advanced nickel plating blocks offer various benefits, including excellent resistance to wear and corrosion and highly adhesive and solderable. Hardness offered by EKWB is greater than electrolytic nickel and similar to hard chrome. The plating provides uniform thickness, which is less than 2 millionths of a millimeter and also offers a very smooth surface.
