3M Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division has unveiled the 3M Hi-Strength 94 ET Spray Adhesives with up to 50% less volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and Low VOC Aerosols to fulfill the environmental and air quality objectives of the customers.
The Low VOC Aerosols, the low-emission versions of 3M’s reliable aerosol adhesives, comprise 3M Silicone Spray with low VOC of 60%, 3M Adhesive Remover with low VOC of less than 20%, 3M Foam Fast 74 Spray Adhesive with low VOC of less than 25%, 3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive with low VOC of less than 25% and 3M Super 77 Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive with low VOC less than 25%.
The 3M Super 77 Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive delivers a longer tack and finer spray pattern compared to the existing products. 3M Foam Fast 74 Spray Adhesive and 3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive offers an increased bonding range, superior peel strength and higher solids.
The 3M Hi-Strength 94 ET Spray Adhesive delivers more benefits than the current 3M Scotch-Weld Hi-Strength Postforming 94 CA Spray Adhesive, including a longer bonding range, longer tack for easier bonding, and more options in substrate bonding to lightweight materials, soft foams and high porous surfaces. It is offered in bulk, cylinder and aerosol types, while 3M Scotch-Weld Hi-Strength Postforming 94 CA Spray Adhesives are offered in both bulk and cylinder versions. Both products are low VOC and fulfill the strict US air quality standards. All of the 3M Low VOC Spray Adhesives have GREENGUARD Children & Schools Certification.
