New Generation Ageing Cell Oven for Testing Polymers and Rubbers

Elastocon of Borås, Sweden, world leaders in technology for testing and evaluation of polymers and elastomers have introduced a new range of precision air ageing cell ovens designed specifically for use with the Elastocon continuous stress relaxation systems.

The new generation cycling oven, model EB17 from Elastocon.

The new generation cycling oven, model EB17, offers a temperature cycling capability between -40°C and 225°C plus the ability to hold single temperatures with precision over long periods. Integral draught hoods eliminate variations in measurements due to changes in the local environment and thus the relaxometers are able to provide essential and accurate information on the performance of sealing systems for automotive and aviation applications.

These and other models conform to ISO 188 and IEC 811 for accelerated ageing of polymers.

Elastocon products are also available in the UK through Nortest Materials testing Instruments.
