Protectoplas has introduced new MT industrial mixing tanks that can handle batches ranging from 30 to 8000 usable gallons in standard sizes. Protectoplas also offers customized sizes for smaller or larger batching requirements.

The new mix tanks are fabricated using HDPE (high density polyethylene) resin that provides unparalleled chemical resistance. The mixing tanks feature a primary support system for the HDPE mixer thus offering an easy access as well as vertical space saving. For harsher chemicals, the company offers several coating options and all wetted parts of the mixer are made of T316 Stainless Steel. The other options offered by Protectoplas include options for fan cooled mixer motor, which are totally enclosed. For 500 gallon capacity tanks, mixer gear reduction is offered as a standard. Standard agitators can be customized to the customer’s needs although it can cover viscosities ranging from 0 to 300 Centipoise.
Designed for both outdoor and indoor utilization, the mixers designed by Protectoplas contain components from Baldor Motors and State Electric. The Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) available with the packaged mix tank systems allow for complete control of the motor speed and for regulation of varying viscosities.
The MT mixing tank range can be used to handle varying batch sizes from 30 to 8000 usable gallons. They have been pre-engineered for use with various applications and can be easily set up.
