Umeco, a global provider of advanced process and composite materials, has announced that it will be participating in the China Composites Expo 2012. The event is to be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre, China and is slated to take place from 5 to 7 September 2012.

Umeco will be showcasing its high performance process materials, prepregs, and tooling materials at the expo. The global company will be focussing on providing a wide range of services ranging from tooling and distribution solutions, process and structural materials, to superior innovation in composites.
Umeco’s staggered sandwich panel is among the items planned for the exhibition. This panel shows how the company’s structural & process materials’ products can function harmoniously when employed for manufacturing large Out-of-Autoclave structures.
Umeco will be demonstrating numerous hand-held, small-sized composite exhibits that include various prosthetic limb items, motorcycle parts, a vertical axis wind turbine blade section, and a planar turbine blade section. The company produces these products from its flexible autoclave and OoA prepregs range.
Umeco has manufactured a carbon/epoxy composite mould tool for Aircelle, a part of the SAFRAN Group. This tool will highlight the capabilities of Umeco’s tooling business unit in design and manufacturing.
Umeco will be exhibiting infusion materials, reusable vacuum systems, vacuum bagging consumables and other such products belonging to its portfolio of ancillary process material products. These products will demonstrate the company’s ability to provide complementary products for various aspects involved in the composites manufacturing process.
Umeco will be exhibiting in Hall1 on stand number 1101.
