ALUMINIUM 2012 will be conducted from October 9 to 11, 2012, in Dusseldorf, where the entire value chain of the aluminum market will be presented by 950 exhibitors from 50 nations.
ALUMINIUM 2012 will organize three special subject areas, namely ‘Solar Innovations,’ ‘Building Innovations,’ and ‘Automotive / Transport Innovations’ to exhibit latest products and trends from the respective fields, thus enabling visitors to experience the versatility of aluminum.
At the special display area ‘Solar Innovations’ in Hall 11, Standard-Metallwerke, ALUMERO, and METRA will showcase their products and solutions for the solar market. Aluminum absorbers and an aerodynamic assembly system for solar modules are two of the products to be exhibited at this subject area.
At the ‘Building Innovations’ special area in Hall 13, DECORAL SYSTEM, MANTEL DIGITAL, Suisse Technology Partners and ALCOA will display their solutions for the architecture field, including a solution for a media fascia with integrated LED technology, printed aluminum surfaces or self-cleaning surface coatings.
At the ‘Automotive/Transport Innovations’ segment in Hall 10, a variety of product ranging from aluminum foams to luggage compartment recesses and hybrid-forged drive flanges through crankcases and components of the latest Range Rover Evoque. Exhibitors such as Keihin Seimitsu Kogyo, AMAG, Novelis, Constellium, LEIBER, and TRIMET will display their solutions for the automotive/transport industry.
ALUMINIUM 2012 trade fair is a meeting place for aluminum manufacturers and processors, providers of finished and semi-finished products and surface treatments, and makers of equipment, plant and ancillaries for manufacturing, processing and finishing aluminum products. The EAA European Aluminum Association and the GDA Gesamtverband der Aluminiumindustrie provides support to this biennial event.
