Dudley J. Primeaux II, PCS, CCI was presented the "Coatings Education Award" at the 2013 SSPC Conference and Exhibit this week in San Antonio, Texas. This is a very prestigious award presented by the SSPC's (Society for Protective Coatings) President Bill Shoup.
The Coatings Education Award was presented to Mr Primeaux for his outstanding work in the development of SSPC's Plural Component Application for Polyureas and High Solid Coatings Course.
The award itself states "as an instructor for your expertise and knowledge of the coatings industry, especially in the field of polyurea, that can be matched by few."
"The entire team at VersaFlex is very proud to have one of our people selected for this award," although it comes as no surprise, that through all of his experience and efforts, Dudley would be presented with such an honor from such a strong group like the SSPC," stated David Cerchie, President of VersaFlex, Inc.
Dudley was also recently named one of the Top 24 Thinkers by JPCL: The Journal of Protective Coatings & Linings. As originally announced in JPCL's sister publication, PaintSquare News, "JPCL's Top Thinkers: The Clive Hare Honors, recognizes a select group of thought leaders worldwide who have advanced the technology of protective and marine coatings in the past decade."
Dudley is also the Head Instructor for the Polyurea University.
