CIVA software from Extende is an expertise platform dedicated to non-destructive testing. It is composed of simulation, imaging and analysis modules, which allow users to conceive or optimize inspection techniques and predicting their performances in realistic NDT configurations, including innovative techniques such as Phased Array (UT and ET).
Today, CIVA includes Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Guided Waves Testing (GWT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Computed Tomography (CT) and Eddy Current techniques (ET). It includes the modelling of innovative technologies such as multi-elements (UT and ET).
This new version brings major advances and offers many new simulation possibilities for users, among them: complex geometries, digital image plate detectors in RT, EMAT probes, Synchronized acquisition gates and automated mode identification in UT, the possibility to read Omniscan® data files, new shapes of ET sensors (D-coil, Racetrack coil, etc.) taking into account electrical parameters.
