BioProcess International 2013: Dow Corning to Highlight Medical Silicone Solutions

Dow Corning Healthcare, a global leader in medical silicone technology and innovation, will be present to meet with members of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry during the BioProcess International (BPI) Conference and Exhibition in Boston, Sept 16-19, booth #601.

Dow Corning has served the industry for more than 50 years with Dow Corning® brand Pharmaceutical Tubing, Dow Corning® Fabricated Tubing Assemblies (FTAs) and Dow Corning® Laboratory Tubing product lines.

Dow Corning Healthcare products are manufactured at its Healthcare Industries Materials Site (HIMS) in Hemlock, MI and it is United States Food and Drug Administration registered for both device and active pharmaceutical ingredient production (CFN 1816403). Dow Corning Pharmaceutical Tubing and FTAs are extruded and molded from Silastic® brand BioMedical Grade elastomers that exceed United States Pharmacopeia (USP®) Class VI requirements and are manufactured following the principles of FDA 21 CFR 210/211 cGMPs for Pharmaceutical products.
