Vyncolit Acquire Rogers Corp. Mouldable Composites Division

Following the September 20th announcement of Rogers Corporation of America intention to sell their mouldable composites division to Vyncolit North America, a subsidiary of the Swedish company Perstorp Group, the sale has now been completed.

The acquisition has cost Vyncolit $21 million which covers business assets and a 5 year royalty stream for intellectual property licencing. Rogers Corporation will retain control of their intellectual property.

Vyncolit, a manufacturer of phenolic compounds, will continue to operate the mouldable composites business from its existing premises in Connecticut.
