FlowCAM® with Auto Focus Announced At Pittcon By Fluid Imaging Technologies

Laboratory instrumentation manufacturer Fluid Imaging Technologies, Scarborough, Maine is pleased to announce its imaging particle analysis system, the FlowCAM®, is now available with an Auto Focus feature. This latest upgrade makes the system easier to use and provides a consistent and repeatable fine focus with minimal user interaction.

Auto Focus features include a web-based assistant that provides on-screen, step-by-step instructions to walk users through the autofocus process and an ideal focal position is calculated by VisualSpreadsheet®. These features allow users to achieve consistent and repeatable focus each time the analysis system is used because it removes the subjective nature of a manually fine focusing.

“At Fluid Imaging Technologies, we’re dedicated to constant product improvement to meet the needs of our customers,” said Bruce Dalton, VP of Engineering and Product Development. “The new auto focus option was developed based on customer feedback and makes the instrument even easier to use.”

For more information on the FlowCAM and the new Auto Focus feature, visit Fluid Imaging Technologies at Pittcon Conference & Expo from March 3-6 in Chicago, Ill., booth #1656.
