New Website Dedicated to X-Ray Tubes Launched By AXT

AXT Pty. Ltd. has recently launched a new website dedicated to their x-ray tube business. This new website is located at www.axtxraytubes.com and focuses on replacement x-ray tubes for analytical, industrial and medical applications.

AXT has been involved in the x-ray tube market since their inception in 1991 when they became the first manufacturer in the world to offer refurbished side window x-ray tubes for XRF spectrometers. Since that time, AXT’s x-ray tube business has flourished and they now supply x-ray tubes from various manufacturers for a range of applications including x-ray diffraction (XRD), x-ray fluorescence (XRF), non-destructive testing (NDT) including baggage inspection, all the way to medical.

The new site contains detailed information about these applications as well as the various x-ray tubes that are available as replacement parts for all the leading x-ray instrument manufacturers such as Bruker, Thermo, Shimadzu and PANalytical. It also covers x-ray tubes that are available as direct replacements for those from other manufacturers, in particular, Varian Medical Systems who AXT are the exclusive worldwide distributor for their analytical and industrial ranges.

When asked why AXT had created this new site, AXT Managing Director Richard Trett explained, “there were two main drivers for this decision. By splitting our product ranges up into two separate websites, it allowed us to focus on both analytical instruments, i.e. complete systems as well as x-ray tubes as key components. We also sell these two ranges in different territories, with our x-ray tubes being available worldwide, while we only sell analytical instruments in Australia and New Zealand.”

The new x-ray tube website also features a clean new layout and allows site visitors to easily select the x-ray tube they require and “request a quote” to facilitate sourcing of new x-ray tubes.

If you use x-ray-based technologies, make sure you bookmark www.axtxraytubes.com so you know where to source replacement x-ray tubes for your equipment and instruments to ensure you minimise downtime.
