Textron Sell Share in Automotive Interiors Joint Venture

Collins Aikman have just purchased Textron Systems 50% share in their Italian joint venture for $15 million.

The joint venture was set up to manufacture interior and exterior automotive trim components.

The purchase gives Collins Aikman the ability to implement their European strategy to the Italian operation which covers four production facilities.

At the same time, Textron has made the divestiture of the non-core business division so that they can focus on its own business strategies.
