ATK Awarded $17.6m Rocket Contract

Composite manufacturer ATK have been awarded a $17.6 million contract to build components for the Israeli Arrow II Rocket by Boeing Air and Missile Defence Systems.

Some of the components to be supplied by ATK include:

  • First and second stage rocket motor cases
  • First stage nozzle components
  • Metallic skirt and interstage components

They will manufacture the components using their innovative technologies and processes such as filament winding and fibre placement at their Utah and Mississippi, USA operations.
