Digital Images Fired onto Tiles

PhotoCeramicArt have brought technology to America that allows digital images to be fired onto ceramic tiles. The technology called "Digital Fire Technology" allows any image to be applied to tiles which can be used for walls, floors, , pools, kitchens, bathrooms or even fireplaces.

The technology is quite simple and involves taking a digital image, printing it using a special decal printer, placing it on the tile and then firing it. This allows a clients to use actual photos after they have been scanned.

The tiles and fired high resolution images are said to be impervious to aggressive (oxidising) substances and even offer a lifetime guaranteed against the scratching or fading.
