Sonoco to Sell High Density Film Business for $123 million

Global packaging manufacturer Sunoco have entered into a definitive agreement to sell their high density film business to Hilex Poly Co. for $123 million.

The high density film business produces plastic grocery, retail, produce and quick service bags as well as agricultural film.

Sonoco’s high density film business has 5 plants across America. They are headquartered in Hartsville, South Carolina, with other plants in: Mount Olive, North Carolina; North Vernon, Indiana; Victoria, Texas; and Milesburg, Pennsylvania.
