Thermal Protective Garments Made from Nomex Introduced to Indonesia

Thermal protective garments made of DuPont™ Nomex® recently were introduced to customers in Indonesia, with many key industry players and local media attending the launch event. The introduction marks the first time DuPont has made its own ready-to-wear garment targeting Indonesia markets, specifically the oil and gas, mining, petrochemical, firefighting and emergency response industries.

"With this new value chain, customers will have direct access to a garment made by DuPont," said Kamran Khan, marketing manager, DuPont Personal Protection, ASEAN, at the launch event.

"We are happy that we are bringing this solution into this important market," said Alec Zheng, sales manager, DuPont Personal Protection, Asia Pacific (ex China). "We are committed to sharing our safety culture and heritage with our customers."
