Genevac Appointed European Support Centre for Laboratory Equipment Manufacturer

Genevac Ltd., world leader in solvent removal technologies, has been appointed as European Support Centre for SP Industries, Inc. (Warminster, PA, USA) - a manufacturer of durable laboratory equipment and specialty glassware serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, educational, industrial, and OEM markets.

The appointment follows the acquisition of Genevac by SP Industries, Inc. from Thermo Fisher Scientific earlier this year.

Reflecting upon the appointment - Rob Darrington (Business Development Manager) commented "the strong synergy existing between Genevac evaporators and SP Industries' VirTis freeze dryers, pilot plant and production scale lyophilisers ; FTS Systems thermal control systems ; Hotpack washers & dryers ; Hull lyophilisers and Wilmad Lab Glass is very exciting". He added "We will now be able to offer and support European scientists with a comprehensive range of top quality products that will enable improvements in productivity and sample preparation as well as enhancing laboratory safety".
