Ireland’s Polymer Development Centre to Close Doors

Ireland’s Polymer Development Centre is to close its’ doors in February next year.

The Polymer Development Centre worked with industry carrying out research and development and testing services, as well as training. Ireland’s polymer industries have voiced concerns over the closure and will now have to source services from other places like the UK.

The Centre had hoped to become self sustaining, but this had not been achievable, being the reason for its impending closure, despite being funded in part by Enterprise Ireland.
