Installation and Commissioning Support
Customers receive support for their investment from Precitech starts from day one. Precitech offers installation and commissioning services for all of its machines. Zero-defect installation is the major reason behind the overall success and profitability of customers’ equipment. Precitech helps customers to bring their ultra precision machining systems online through its installation and commissioning services.
Preventive Maintenance and Service Contracts
The AMECare Service Contract maintains system integrity by means of a proactive approach. The contract is intended to help customers to operate their Precitech equipment constantly at peak performance. As part of the service contract, critical maintenance works and backup services are carried out at regular intervals so that optimum uptime can be maintained. Most customers make use of Precitech’s annual preventive maintenance service option, which is cost effective. Precitech offers both standard and tailored schemes to meet the specific requirements of customers.
Factory repairs are offered by Precitech for electronic and mechanical components. In addition, the company can provide factory repair service in a quick turnaround due to in-house production of spindles.
Field Service Support

Once the installation is completed, the equipment comes under the extensive warranty contract of Precitech. The warranty contract covers all aspects of the equipment during the first year of service. This is includes factory repairs, all parts, field labor, and phone support. The contract can be renewed for the life of the equipment.
Precitech began operations in 1992, but continues the rich history of ultra-precision machine tool building dating back to 1962, when Pneumo Precision was founded. In October of 1997, the Pneumo ultra-precision machine tool division of Taylor Hobson (formerly Rank Taylor Hobson / Rank Pneumo) was merged with Precitech. The Precitech name was retained for this corporate entity and all offices and manufacturing facilities are now located at 44 Blackbrook Road in Keene, New Hampshire.
Our facility staffs approximately 100 talented individuals in a recently designed 60,000 Sq. Ft. building.
