Tradeshow Talks with Vici

Please tell us about about the company?

Vici was founded 50 years ago. We are a main supplier for components into the analytical industry.

We have valves, switching valves, separation valves, injectors, detectors, tubing's, and we have fittings. Whatever is required in the analytical world.

Is there anything that sets apart your valves and connectors from others on the market? What sets the company apart from others?

We are a strong quality company. There is no single valve in a factory without having a single control. This means whenever we go out with the valve outside of the company it works. That's the reputation we have and that's why all the big companies trust our components and they buy them.

We also have the most sensitive detectors. We are also starting to make trace gas analyzer specialties.

What are the challenges in making such a fast GC system?

For us it is the components supply.

Do you make things custom to order?

Yes, that is another big part of our company. We do make custom tailor-made parts, and that's why the name Vici is well known in the market, but not everybody understands what we are doing, because we are inside of the big names. In addition, we also have now a full range of gas generators producing the gas online in the lab instead of depending on cylinders. We use hydrogen, nitrogen, and specialty gases required in the chromatography territories.
