Advantages

Very good rigidity, tensile strength, creep resistance and processability compared with unmodified polyamide 6/6 grades. Reduced tendency to form sink marks.

Disadvantages

Processing equipment (screws and the like) needs to be cleaned mechanically rather than being burnt off. At high burn off temperatures minerals may fuse. Reduced notched izod impact strength when compared with unmodified grades.

Applications
