Fabrication and Heat Treatment

Welding

Welding processes suitable for the UNS C92500 alloy include brazing and soldering. Welding processes not recommended for this alloy include gas shielded arc welding, carbon arc welding, coated metal arc welding and oxyacetylene welding.

Machinability

The machinability rating of the UNS C92500 copper alloy is 30.

Heat Treatment

UNS C92500 can be stress relieved at 260°C (500°F), with a hold time of one hour per inch (25mm) of section thickness. This alloy does not react to heat treatment.
