Fabrication and Heat Treatment

Welding

Welding process suitable for the UNS C92600 alloy include brazing and soldering. Welding processes not recommended for this alloy include gas shielded arc welding, carbon arc welding, coated metal arc welding and oxyacetylene welding.

Machinability

The machinability rating of the UNS C92600 alloy is 40.

Heat Treatment

The UNS C92600 alloy has a stress relieving temperature of 260°C (500°F). Samples should be held at the stress relieving temperature for 1 hour per 25mm of section thickness.

This alloy does not react to heat treatment.
