Introduction
Magnesium is a strong, silvery-white, light-weight metal that tarnishes slightly when exposed to air. Magnesium QE22A-T6 alloy is a casting alloy having excellent tensile, fatigue and creep properties at elevated and room temperatures. It is weldable and pressure tight.

Applications
Magnesium QE22A-T6 alloy is typically used for commercial and military sand and permanent mold castings with high yield strengths at temperatures up to 200°C (392°F). It is widely used in aerospace applications.
