Introduction
Copper is known for its excellent thermal and electric conductivity and good resistance to corrosion. Copper alloys are subjected to heat treatment methods in order to enhance their ultimate tensile strength.
Copper alloy C66300 is available in the form of rolled bars, sheets, strips and plates. It is associated with other alloys such as olin alloy C663, which is a phosphor bronze alloy. This alloy is strengthened by dispersion. Copper C66300 is an alloy of copper and silicon. It is available as five rolled tempers, three cold rolled tempers and one annealed temper.
This datasheet will elaborate on the chemical composition, properties and applications of copper UNS C66300 alloy.
