EP21TPLV: Compound with Excellent Resistance to Chemicals

Featuring a unique blend of outstanding toughness and chemical resistance, EP21TPLV can withstand exposure to water, gasoline, oils, hydrocarbons, fuels, hydraulic fluids and many acids and bases. Often used as a sealant, it is also very effective as an adhesive, coating, and encapsulant. This two part metal free epoxy polysulfide is easy to handle with a one to one mix ratio by weight or volume and a room temperature cure schedule. It also possesses an advantageous low viscosity. Shore D hardness is 60-65.

EP21TPLV resists rigorous thermal cycling as well as mechanical and thermal shocks. It provides excellent electrical insulation properties. Its service temperature range is -80 °F to +250 °F. It may be used as a fuel tank sealant and coating, as well as for potting electrical connectors and other components exposed to fuels, oils and lubricants.
