Cadmium Sulfide Pellets for Growth of Thin Films by Pulsed Laser Deposition

This research work looks at a production method for making CdS thin films in a manner that is low in cost, low in contamination and results in minimal contact with the operator. The system is Pulsed Laser Deposition Modified (PLD-M) and gave films that are homogeneous and uniform without holes.

Spinel containing high alumina refractory cements are in high demand by the glass, cement and metallurgy industries. These spinel cements are normally produced with high cost materials. A solution is to generate the spinel phase in-situ when making the refractory materials from dolomites.

Effect of Li Alloying on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Ni3Al

This article explores the effects of additions of lithium to produce intermetallic phases in the Ni-Al alloy system and evaluates the mechanical properties and structural characteristics produced. The results show an improvement in the mechanical properties.

In this research, novel URA molecular imprinting membranes were studied by using ion complex method of copolymers. The ion complex technique provides a new approach in molecularly imprinted membranes and uses two copolymers which can form ion complex membranes.

Leaching of Geopolymers in Deionised Water
