PTR MS Breath Analysis

IONICON PTR-TOFMS supports highly sensitive breath analysis by drawing samples directly into the instrument for real-time trace gas measurement, avoiding lengthy offline preparation or GC-based workflows. Its soft ion-molecule chemistry enables pptv-level detection, while high mass resolution helps distinguish isobaric compounds. When paired with the BET-MED sampler, it can selectively analyse alveolar breath for more reliable clinical data.
