WRAP Organise Event to Promote Recycling

Delegates will debate how the UK can recycle more of its non-bottle domestic plastic waste at a forthcoming event organised by WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) called Extending Recycling – Is the UK Ready for Mixed Plastics?

The event takes place at the Thistle Hotel in Marble Arch, in London on 30 October 2007.

Non-bottle plastic waste presents a big challenge to increasing UK recycling rates, and this event aims to explore barriers and opportunities while outlining some of the work WRAP are undertaking to try and address the issue.

The event is free to attend and is aimed at producers and users of non-bottle plastic packaging (i.e. film, pots, tubs, trays etc), as well as stakeholders from the waste management, reprocessing and local authority sectors. Places are limited, so please email WRAP on [email protected] to book your place.
