DuPont Innovative Coating on World's First Glass Cookware Takes Off

"Marinex® & Teflon®" -- the world's first glass cookware coated with DuPont™ Teflon®, an innovative development by DuPont Fluoropolymer Solutions and Saint-Gobain Santa Marina -- is growing fast in the Brazilian market. In fact, the product line recently was expanded by launching new formats and sizes.

Laurent Guillot, general delegate, Saint-Gobain Brazil, Argentina and Chile; and Eduardo Wanick, president, DuPont Latin America, observe the production of "Marinex® & Teflon®" in the new manufacturing unit.

"This is a special milestone for us," said John Jansen, director, DuPont Fluoroproducts, Latin America. "It shows that we have met several challenges and accomplished an innovative and sophisticated project."

To promote the new product, a television and print advertising campaign represents the "perfect wedding" between DuPont and Saint-Gobain Santa Marina. To view the 30-second television commercial, visit: http://www.4shared.com/file/38286760/e75ccfe4/marinex18_02.html.

"Marinex® & Teflon®" will be launched in several other countries in 2008. To meet expected demand, a DuPont site was established last September at the Saint-Gobain Santa Marina plant in São Paulo, Brazil.
