Polypipe Strengthens Position in UK Rainwater Market

It has been announced today that Polypipe has agreed to acquire the rainwater and drainage business of Marshall-Tufflex. This move will strengthen Polypipe's position in the UK rainwater systems market.

The Marshall-Tufflex rainwater brand has a well-deserved reputation for offering excellent quality products, high levels of technical support and first class customer service, particularly in the growing roofline segment.

Polypipe, from its foundation in 1980 has grown with a consistent customer focussed ethos. World class manufacturing facilities coupled with a self managed and owned fleet of delivery vehicles has allowed Polypipe to achieve sustainable growth ahead of the market year on year. In the last 3 years over £60m has been invested in capital equipment to ensure Polypipe remain leaders in the manufacture of plastic piping systems to the Building Industry. This acquisition will add another leading brand and product range to Polypipe's proposition to the market.

Made up of 27 principal brands across 10 companies, with over 1,800 employees across Europe and the Middle East, Polypipe manufactures a comprehensive range of plastic piping and sanitary systems for the residential, commercial and infrastructure markets across Europe. From its foundation in 1980 Polypipe has grown into a global organization, producing some 15,000 products for water, air, energy and telecoms applications.
