A VFS vacuum furnace has shipped to a manufacturer located in the Northeast US. The new HIQ2624-10 Horizontal Internal Quench (HIQ) furnace was designed to address the customer's sintering process requirements. This furnace includes a 10-bar nitrogen quench system, with an energy efficient graphite hot zone capable of processing temperatures up to 2,400ºF, Graform curved graphite heating elements, the popular CompuVac supervisory control system, and a TruLock autoclave door. The unit features an 18" x 14" x 24" (W x H x D) hot zone and is capable of handling loads up to 750 lbs.
This shipment represents the 2nd VFS vacuum furnace purchased by this customer. High performance VFS vacuum furnaces serve a variety of thermal processing applications in the metal treating, brazing and vacuum debinding and sintering industries. Available in horizontal and vertical models, VFS furnaces are utilized by a number of high-value industries such as medical, aerospace and land-based turbine manufacturers for their superior efficiency and ease of use.
