Turbotec Introduce a Proprietary Process for Producing Titanium Tubing and Plastic Shell Casing for Pool and Spa Coaxial Coils

Turbotec Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thermodynetics, Inc. today introduced two new products for applications in heat transfer systems and devices. Turbotec is a world leader in enhanced heat transfer technology, and offers tubing products that support a wide array of heat transfer needs, including surface-enhanced tubing, single and double walled coaxial condensers and evaporators and heat recovery systems.

Turbotec has introduced its proprietary process for the manufacture of surface-enhanced Titanium tubing and as a first application has produced coaxial coils for spa and swimming pool heating systems. Offering the strength of Titanium metal, this breakthrough tubing protects heating units from highly erosive and corrosive environments typical of pool and spa waters. Other corrosive environments are also expected to create new applications for this tubing.

Simultaneously, to offset the higher costs of titanium vs. other metal tubing, Turbotec has developed and now has available exclusive plastic shell casings for its helical coaxial coils. Turbotec's new breakthrough plastic shell casing offers a high measure of quality for spa and swimming pool heating systems allowing for maximum heat transfer, while protecting the unit from highly erosive and corrosive environments typical of pool and spa waters. As an option to copper tubing, Turbotec's PVC shells are also nearly 50% more economical.
