Terry Caloghiris, vice president and general manager – DuPont Engineering Polymers (EP), recently visited DuPont India and committed to further accelerating the growth potential of DuPont Engineering Polymers in India.
During his six-day visit to the country, Terry interacted with key business customers, employees, leading industry experts and others to understand the growth potential in the country. At a meeting with customers of key industry segments, Terry said, "I have not visited India for two years and the changes I have seen are very impressive. There are infrastructure improvements everywhere and a sense of confidence for future success."
Henrique Ubrig, president, DuPont India, joined Terry in customer discussions on EP's business growth prospects. "EP's drive with the automotive and railway industries unleashes huge potential for additional growth in India," said Henrique. "It's impressive to see this level of performance."
Terry congratulated the EP India team on their efforts to achieve business objectives and emphasized the importance of focusing on customer needs. He encouraged the team to leverage EP's leadership position in India to further strengthen its technical application development capabilities to support customers and benefit from the existing growth potential of the country. "There is tremendous opportunity for growth in India. With EP India's 2005 performance, I'm confident we'll meet customer needs and continue growing," he said.
