Aquaphalt Permanent Patching Material to be Launched at ConExpo in Las Vegas

Aquaphalt, the first truly permanent and environmentally-friendly asphalt patching product, will be launched in the U.S. at ConExpo in Las Vegas in March, 2011.

Aquaphalt will be produced and distributed by Roadstone Production, LLC, a Virginia-based company, under license from Vialit Asphalt GmbH & Co. KG headquartered in Austria.

Finally: A Permanent, Environmentally Friendly Asphalt Product

Aquaphalt Permanent Asphalt Repair

Aquaphalt is designed as a permanent patching material for repairing potholes and other types of asphalt or concrete pavement damage. It applies equally well in all weather conditions and hardens quickly to form a permanent repair as strong or stronger than the surrounding pavement. Other currently available “cold-patch” asphalt products provide only temporary solutions to potholes and must eventually be replaced by permanent pavement materials.

Aquaphalt also features a revolutionary, proprietary “green” binder that reacts and hardens with only common water. Other asphalt patching products contain potentially toxic and harmful, petroleum-based solvents.

“We’re excited to be launching the first truly permanent asphalt patching product available in the United States,” says Roadstone Production, LLC chief executive Blair Williamson. “Our Aquaphalt product, which has been developed and used successfully for many years in Europe and the U.K. by our Vialit partners, is far superior in quality to the asphalt cold-patch products typically available in the U.S.”

“Aquaphalt has numerous other benefits,” Williamson adds, “It’s simple and safe to handle, it’s friendly to the environment, it has a wide variety of uses as a pavement repair product, and it works in all weather conditions.”

Aquaphalt will be distributed to paving contractors, utility contractors, municipalities and other road repair providers through Roadstone’s national sales network, according to Williamson.

Williamson also heads an asphalt production company, S.L. Williamson Company, Inc., based in Charlottesville, Virginia, where Aquaphalt will be produced for national distribution.

Aquaphalt will be showcased at Booth G-126 at the ConExpo exposition for the construction industry, to be held March 22 to 26, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
