Nanomix Secures $9 Million Series B Funding

Nanomix Inc., formerly Covalent Materials Inc. have just completed their series B funding round, securing $9 million. Contributors include Apax Partners, Sevin Rosen Funds, EnterTech Capital Partners and others.

Major achievements that contributed to Nanomix being able to secure funding include:

  • Large scale integration of nanotube electronics on a 4” silicon wafer
  • Lab scale prototyping of a high density hydrogen storage system

Nanomix is currently working on high density hydrogen storage alternatives for fuel cell technologies as well as chemical sensors for leak detection, medical monitoring and industrial process control.
