Oldcastle Precast Acquires Intellectual Property and Manufacturing Assets from Duratek Precast Technologies

Supplier of precast concrete products, Oldcastle Precast proclaimed that it has purchased certain assets of Duratek Precast Technologies. Financial terms of the deal were not revealed.

Duratek is a precast concrete firm based in Florida. It designs, produces and deploys precast homes, safe harbor marinas, hurricane hangars, sound barriers, DOT walls, precast concrete site walls, and industrial, residential and commercial structures.

Duratek has recently submitted a patent application for its unitized construction techniques. Till date, the company has produced and deployed precast concrete walls of more than 900 miles across Florida. The construction techniques make strong structures for any type of applications.

The acquisition of production and intellectual property assets will enable Oldcastle Precast to launch Duratek products at the national level, thereby providing customers with advanced production technologies.

Oldcastle Precast can now offer eco-friendly perimeter wall systems for gated developments and communities, privacy walls for government buildings, schools, airports and water treatment plants, environmental acoustics for transportation, commercial and industrial problems.

By employing advanced procedures and services, Duratek offers high quality, eco-friendly precast concrete products. The acquisition complements Oldcastle Precast’s commitment in delivering eco-friendly and superior quality building materials for commercial and residential construction across the US.
