Eco Building Products Ships First South Order to Cobblestone Mill Woodworks

Eco Building Products, Inc., is excited to announce that today, the Company has shipped its first order in the South to Cobblestone Mill Woodworks, Inc. located in Ball Ground, Georgia. Cobblestone previously utilized wood treatment services from a Canadian supplier lacking sufficient quality control measures and technical support, resulting in a newly formed business relationship with ECOB.

Additionally, the Company has cultivated a builder relationship in the Northeast by way of John Simmons and AGM for the use of Eco Red Shield protected lumber for an entire house package headed into Breezy Point, New York that starts framing on April 7, 2014. This Breezy Point builder received building plans specified with Eco Red Shield protected lumber which led to a complete special order purchase from The Home Depot and a follow-on call with ECOB CEO Steve Conboy, in which the builder stated, "He will never again build with raw lumber". AGM Principal, John Simmons, is preparing to release a second whole-house package to ECOB with another four more residential projects in the queue all of which will utilize ECOB's advanced framing lumber. Our team effort between the Company and like-minded builders represents the adoption of this technology via the display of defensive building practices in heavily saturated rebuilding regions including Breezy Point and the New Jersey Shore, where builders and contractors are looking to build with more than just raw, unprotected lumber.

"As mentioned in recent news, the demand in the Northeast started with one house. Now in early April, there will be red buildings popping in NY and NJ, supported by trucks full of red lumber hitting the road this week setting on the shelf inventory in big box locations all across the region. Americans are rallying coast to coast, including government and fire officials, while the lumber industry continues to resist change. If we are going to lead the world in residential construction, we need like-minded contractors to stand up in the face of adversity, and make the change to the newest and best American brand of lumber, Eco Red Shield protected lumber," stated Steve Conboy, President/CEO, Eco Building Products, Inc.

Also of relevance, the Company received communication today from a representative with the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety & Health Administration with a link to Tuesday's under-construction apartment complex fire in Houston stating that he and his team are now promoting Eco Red Shield protected lumber products. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cg9PWSHL4Vg this massive fire has been reported to have started during welding work on the roof of the building. A recent testimonial from a safety manager on a multi-family jobsite supports Eco's position in the Industry and the use of Eco Red Shield protected lumber products on all jobsites.

I wanted to tell you I witnessed firsthand the effectiveness of the Eco Red Shield fire retardant qualities. As a safety manager for a general contractor, fire prevention on wood frame projects is a major concern. We had a situation where we had to weld a 1-1/4" inch all thread to an I-beam which had been sheeted over with OSB sheeting treated with Eco Red Shield. After a 2-½" hole was drilled in the OSB and hot work procedures were implemented, the welding began. During the arc welding process I noticed very little smoke coming from the OSB. When the welding was completed, the smoke subsided almost instantly. The interior of the OSB board glowed red for a second or two and stopped smoldering shortly thereafter. What an amazing product. I would recommend Eco Red Shield treated materials to anyone involved with a wood frame project.

"Needless to say, these are exciting times for all of us at Eco. We have assembled a hard working team that has created the opportunity for the upcoming spring run showcase of our products in the Sandy rebuild. We have stayed true to our plan despite being attacked by others in the wood treatment space who are obviously threatened by our success. Our stockholders tell us what the internet message board naysayers are saying about us. At Eco we pay no attention to naysayers we keep our heads down and work hard because we are brick and mortar people that believe our hard work is revolutionizing the lumber industry. One day the naysayers will realize that big box would not be rolling out Eco Red Shield creating shelf space in every store in NY and NJ during their busy spring run season if they did not perform proper due diligence. At Eco we all believe our lumber could be the future and the best lumber the building industry has ever seen," added Conboy.
