TCR Engineering Services, a reputed and independent ISO 17025 certified material testing laboratory, today expanded its boundaries by initiating a joint venture in Kuwait. The new company will be called "TCR-KIL Kuwait Industrial Laboratory Testing & Inspection Services Company".
Commenting on the joint venture, Mr. V. K. Bafna, Managing Director of TCR Engineering said, "The new company represents a major opportunity for TCR to expand capabilities and capacity in the Middle-East material testing and quality assurance market. There are many synergies to exploit between the services currently offered by TCR Engineering in India and those provided by TCR-KIL in Kuwait."
Mr. Awad Abdullah Hussain is the Managing Director of TCR-KIL while the laboratory operations are handled by Mr. Prasanth Shetty as General Manager.
Mr. Rohit Bafna, Director Global Sales of TCR said, "Our goal at TCR-KIL will be to bring the 33 year experience of TCR Engineering in India to meet the material testing needs of companies in Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia and other parts of Middle-East." Rohit further added, "The independent analytical laboratory market in the Middle-East and South-East Asia is very fragmented with lots of small mom and pop companies, with limited resources, manpower, expertise and capacity for growth. Only companies like TCR and TCR-KIL have the means and client support to offer a wide range of analytical testing solutions under one roof."
TCR-KIL will be based in Ahmadi, Kuwait and offer Mechanical Testing, Chemical Analysis, Positive Material Identification (PMI), Non Destructive Testing, Metallography, Corrosion Testing, Failure Analysis, Raw Material Inspection, Metallurgical Product evaluation, Heat Treatment, Engineering Research, Sourcing and Consulting.
