CSMA to Hold Surface Analysis Workshop in February 2007

CSMA is holding a surface analysis workshop at our Stoke-on-Trent headquarters on the 28th February 2007.

The day will include brief presentations on XPS, ToFSIMS, 3DP and DSIMS depth profiling as well as industrial case studies highlighting the benefits of surface analysis.

Laboratory demonstrations will be run in the afternoon and there will also be an opportunity to bring a sample for one-to-one discussions with a member of the scientific team.

Areas covered will include:

  • Intermittent contamination
  • Adhesion and delaminations
  • Cleanliness validation
  • Lubrication and wear
  • Dopants and impurities
  • Multi-layered structures
  • Surface activations and pre-treatment
  • Topographical Features
