New GPX Grinder Polisher from LECO

Leco Instruments adds new Automatic GPX metallographic sample grinder polisher to its range of metallographic instruments

The new instrument is available with a choice of 8”, 10” or 12” diameter arrangements and has a choice of either fixed sample type holders where pressure is applied to the actual sample holder and the sample are rigidly fixed in, or non fixed sample type holder where each sample has its own piston applying pressure making it easy to stop, remove and replace the individual samples without detriment.

The GPX body is made from cast aluminium for superior strength and asthetics. It has a fully programmable control for ease of repetitive work along with 35 preset methods as standard. The fully automatic version has head oscillation with gives improved sample flatness and an optional abrasive dosing system reduces operator involvement.
